Nic's Western Civ

Today in Human Geo Mr. Shick was absent so we had a sub. Today Mr.Shick gave us a class period to study for our exams. I am Supper grateful for this because if have been running a little behind of where I want to be for our tests. I used this period to study for Human geo. I had a quiz let and it has helped be memorize all of the phases and definition that we have gone over this year. I think that I will do the best on the HumanGeo exam or the Intro to Bible exam. I am very thankful for this opportunity and I made sure that I took advantage of it.

Today we got our pop quizes back in human geo.  I got a 100! and it is amazing. Usually when we get a pop quiz I usually fail it and it just brings my grade down. I still dont like the fact that when get quizes that we cannot prepare for I just dont think that it is fair at all. Other then that, we talked about Exams and that we would be getting a review on Friday. We also talked about how we are having a test on Monday which Im mad about. All of my teacher have been giving us tons of homework and lots of tests and quizes this past week and on Monday next week. I think that this is super unfair because we students have enough stress as it is with school and sports but to add on top of that we get tons of extra stuff to study for the week of Exams. This is not fair because we should be able to use this time to study for Exams. All of my teachers think that having lots of test will refresh stuff in my brain but its not helping at all.

Today we took a pop quiz and I got a 100 on it. I am so happy because I usually dont do very well but this time I did. Some things that were on the test was stuff on Hans Rosling and his global health chart.  It  industrializing countries and had stuff on the what that did to them. At first I wasn't happy that we were having a pop quiz today because my grade had just moved up and was pretty good but Im happy because I got a one hundred. Over all today was regular other than the test but thats okay cause I like normal days.

Today in human geo Mr. Shick showed us  a chart that explained Birth and death rates throughout a countries time in industrial times. Before the industry the birth rate was very high and the death rate was also super high. As time went on the death rate went down because of health care in the industry and birth rate also went down because not as many people were dyeing so people didn't have to have as many kids to see some of them live. after this Mr.Shick let us use the rest of the period to work on school work. Some of us watched the cyber day video of Mr. Shick from two years ago.
