First day human geo blog

Today was my first day attending The john Carroll School.  It was a lot to take in but at the same time it was very exciting.  Today was also very scary because it was the first day to impress your teachers.  I had the first mod off and I didn't know what to do so i sat down with a new group of people and met a couple new friends.  I hope these people become very good friends of mine and that I have lots of fun with them this year.  Next I had Into to Bible with Mr. Kimble. Mr. Kimble was a very nice guys and I liked his class a lot. We went over some of the things that we would be doing this year and some of the rules and requirements for his class.  Next I had honors biology and we went over quite a lot in this class.  I have Mrs. Deroba for Honor Biology and she was lots of fun.  First we wrote a little bit about ourselves on a note card so that she could get to know us better.  Next we went over to safety requirements for the class so that we would understand what is safe and not safe to do in the biology lab. Most of it was just common sense stuff so most of us knew a lot of it.  Then she gave use a worksheet with lots of questions on it so that she could find out what we know about biology.  After biology i went to stem which was  seemed like a very short period (because it was during lunch). The stem instructor talked about what kind of things we would be doing in stem and what kind of field trip we would be going on.  Next I had into to drawing which was a little bit boring in my perspective just because I am not a big fan of art.   In that class we worked on drawing a candy bar to show the teacher where we are in are skill of drawing.  The only reason I enjoyed that period was because I got to eat my candy bar at the end.  Moving on to the next period I had Mr.shick for human geo. This class was cool but it looks like we will be doing a lot of writing which is not my favorite thing in the world.  Last period I had Mrs. zurkowski for english. This class was also not as fun because we will be reading and writing a lot and that is diffidently not one of my strong suites. We completed a worksheet for this class and shared some information about ourselves and our partners.   After that it was the end of the day. I would say my first day was a success and that I cant wait to spend the next four years going to school here.
