Today in class we watched a slide show on the message to Garcia and the many details about it. Here are some things I learned today in class.Elbert Hubbard was the author of The message to Garcia. The essay was also made into a movie twice once in 1916 and once in 1936. Garcia was a revolutionary seeking cuban independence from spain. rowan was a army officer who graduated from west point in the class of 1881.The ancient greek work for excellence is Arete'. The highest human potential is knowledge of knowledge. These are just some of the many things that I learned about Garcia and I now have a much better understanding of "A message to Garcia."
