Thinking globally, acting locally, It a very important phrase that we cover today in class. What is thinking globally, acting Locally? This is when we do something locally and if everyone in the world contributes locally they it will be a worldly event. An example of this is global warming. When we drive or use a car it release harmful gases that harm our eviorment and contribute to global warming. We have to go to the store every week to buy food and groceries for our family. The idea is that if we grow our own food then maybe it will decrease in the amount of gases emitted from our cars by driving to the store.  Because there are less gases emitted Global warming will decrease a bit but its only a small little step in to stoping a major global event like that. After that we talked about the voting age. Mr. Shick thinks that the voting age should be 16 because when people are elected they sometimes have different views or want to change college tuition. I would love for this to be but i just dont think that some of us are mature enough at this age. I have heard rumor that Kanye west may run for president in twenty twenty. If 16 year olds could vote I think they would vote for him as a joke or something. I just dont think that people would take it seriously.
