Today in class we watched a crash course and the guy in the video was talking about philosophy. The guy in the video focused on ethics and aesthetics. We also talked about what we looked like before we were born or if we even existed before we were born. Christians believe that we live forever after we die so why couldn't we believe that we existed before we were born. Mr. Schick told us a story today about a homeless man and it really changed how I view them as people. Never judge a book by its cover. I know you have heard the phrase before and it was really the theme of the story Mr. Schick told us. This homeless man was out in the cold and Mr. Schick invited him into a bagel shop so he could get a bite to eat. While they were in the shop they sat down to eat. Everyone near them flocked away from them in a disgusted way. This is extremely sad that people judge someone off of looks and the is completely wrong. I think that we need to be more open to getting to know people before we judge them.
