today in class we talked about the punic wars. THere were three of them and each one was very different from the other regarding strategy and fighting teqnics. The wars were fought between Rome and Carthage. The first war was a naval battle in the medderterainian sea which Rome won because they were bigger and better than Carthage. The second war the Carthaginians tried to cut off all trade with Rome and then eventually when they were weak attack the actual city of Rome but the Carthaginians never actually got to the city. The third and last war was Rome attacking Carthage and getting rid of them for good. They completely wiped them out.
