Today in class we continued to prepare for our test on thursday. Today in the power point we talked about a bunch of the Roman emperors. Most lived out their lives peacefully but there were also a lot of bad emperors who were assassinated or murdered to be taken out of office. Nero was one of the very bad ones. His stepfather was poisoned by his mother so that her son could take his place in office. When he got into office he was a terrible leader and the only thing he seemed to care about was how the Roman empire looked he didn't care about how well the Roman empire ran but only how it looked. Before him, his father Claudius ruled. Claudius had a limp and studdered a lot so it was kinda hard to imagine him as one of those super inspirational people. He ruled very well and help make the Roman empire run better and be more efficient but he was later poisoned by his wife so that his stepson could come rule the empire.
