Here are my notes:
- Constantinople issues the Edict of Milan
- Roman empire and Christianity are linked to power and control
- 180 AD Rome has problems
- Economic ( Taxes are too high and food supply is low)
- Military ( Frontiers were hard to patrol, Loyalty declined and mercenaries appeared.)
- Diocletian divided the empire into two
- Greek-speaking east
- Latin-speaking west
- 324 AD Constantine becomes emperor of both sides of the Roman empire
- Moves capital from Rome to Byzatium (turkey)
